March Post II

I was wondering the recent state of the former president Doo-Hwan Chun who caused the mass of innocent death from the Gwangju Uprising. He is still alive and live like normal people with his family. Unlike him, the former president, Geun-Hae Park, is arrested because of her unrightful action while she had the authority of president. Also the another former president, MB LEE, is arrested because of his unrightful action. I was wondering why the former president, Doo-Hwan Chun, is not still arrested and not having the consequence of killing innocent people. He defends his action by saying the Gwangju Uprising was needed to develop the society but many people disagree with him. I am planning to come up with another post about the former president Doo-Hwan Chun. I will interview my parents who were alive during that time era and my sister who weren't alive during that time era about the thoughts of Doo-Hwan Chun.

The reason why he rejected the order was that the police can't kill the citizens who they have to protect. However, the government disliked how he rejected the order and helped the citizens. Thus, they tortured him by saying that him rebelling against the government and he

I interviewed my mom who was indirectly influenced by the event. She lived in Seoul during the time. She was a college student who wasn't involve in the demo or any protest. She was a student who was waiting for the graduation. She knew how the situation was getting worse but did not know the details. Like how other people were, she thought that it was just a little happening that was caused by government and some group of gangsters. She told me that some of her friends who were active in the protest were captured by the police and were humiliated by the public. She told me that by the time went, the situation was getting worse and worse. And sudden, the truth of the happening revealed. Everyone heard and knew about the truth after the revealing the truth by the foreign reporter,  J ürgen Hinzpeter. Including my mom, everyone was surprised by the villain action of the government. The government tried to kill people who protest against the government and who knew the truth. She told
